Microsoft adds warning to Cyberpunk 2077 store page

Microsoft has not gone quite as far as Sony but there is now a warning message for all potential customers intending to buy the game online.

The Xbox version store page now includes a piece of text warning of performance issues. It reads:

Users may experience performance issues when playing this game on Xbox One consoles until this game is updated.

The warning is not exactly that prominent on the page but it’s interesting to note they have not gone as far as pulling the game from their store as Sony has done. Now that refunds are being pushed out to everyone that wants one on consoles, it would make more sense to pull it until the fixes arrive otherwise the cycle of unhappy customers continues.

With a patch rolling out last night, at least we know that CDPR is working on getting rid of some of the annoying bugs but performance will be key. Unless they can improve the performance of consoles quickly, more sales will be lost and it will be harder to restore their reputation with console gamers.
