It’s a mad world at the moment and the unrest in the US has quite rightly put a pause on major game events and reveals. EA has already postponed their Madden reveal, Sony their PS5 game reveals. and CD Projekt has also decided to postpone Night City Wire.
More Cyberpunk 2077 information was planned to be released as part of CD Projekt’s Night City Wire event on 11 June. That is now on hold until 25 June as highlighted on a tweet from the team today.
We decided to move Night City Wire to Jun 25th. We still look forward to sharing new information about CP’77, but more important discussions are happening right now and we want them to be heard. We wholeheartedly stand against racism, intolerance and violence. Black Lives Matter.

Many industries are speaking out against racial violence in the US and it’s long overdue. Whether it’s the gaming industry or the music industry, people need to stand together at this turbulent time.
